#50810 - problem in using paulmon 8051 board
hello friends,

iam getting a problem in using the paulmon assembled 8051 board..
iam using a hyperterminal program to send my hex file
at location 2000 in RAM space. when i download the code it gives me a message with prompt
paulmon 2000>^..........
30 line recieved
380 bytes recieved
o byetes written
error:
unable to write 380 bytes
.........

Also when i try to write the same program at external flash Rom at location 8100 it gives the same type of error ...(for writing the program i have changed the org 8100 in my .asm program)

i am getting this problem in both RAM as well as ROM
i have also checked the various ICs on board ...
should there be a problem of RAM andROM ics on board...

whenever i try to edit the RAM memory location by edit program it does not change the previous value...
same in case of the clear memory command provided by the paulmon prog...

z command is also not working ....
i mean to say that whenever i wants to write something in memory location through my program it gives me unable to write message ...

i don't know where i am wrong plz help me out ...
what could be the problem in using the board..

ur faithfully

ashwani chauhan
