thank for all the help guys, i finally figured out the problem. I was mixing up the input high bits and low bits of the dividend and divisor. I thought it was in the order of r0r1r2r3 for the dividend, and r4r5 for the divisor, but it is supposed to be reverse of that, and that is what was causing the problem. Thanks again.
