you are right! But at the very beginning, I connect 8051 to RST, and leave the /RST unconneted. I think this is ok, because ADM1232 is an "upgrade" of DS1232. And I check the datasheet of DS1232, which comes with a connection with the 8051 and DS1232, they just leave the /RST unconnected. So if the DS1232 works out nicely with /RST unconnected, then ADM1232, which is so call "upgraded", should be fine, right? |
