The answer is because when you've receive byte by receiving side (Rx2) it doesn't mean that Tx2 is ready!
And you can rewrite the contents of the SBUF and start new transmission.

You have to implement the polling for TI and RI flags on receiving side (Rx2) like in transmitting side (Tx1) routine.

By the way, Tx1 transmits bytes continiously, do you need in that?
