------------------------------- "Would like to know about designing this control panel in Visual Basic." hi harnam, i think you will communicate with 52 using UART and then build some protocol to TAME the 8052 to obey the PCs commands. harnam i think doing it in visual basic is easy than doing in DOS based basic. you can create a VB form with as many buttons (an array also possible) you want. just add a 'MS COMM' control to your page set its properties like the 'port' , 'baudrate' etc.. now you just write the engine for protocol you designed. and you are ready to send the trough a serial port.
