Thanks for the tips Derek.

Still couldn't see anything wrong, so got the emulator out, and had a deeper look. Seems that there was one and only one absolute long call, from within the BASIC.src file which needed to be remapped, to the FP52.src file. This has solved all of the problems.
Now have a RAM executing 8k Basic @6000h.
