#5163 - RE: Reference Designators |
I guess the problem I see is too many diode varients these days making D more meaningless.
Even though I use SW for switch, I try to reduce everything down to a single letter. Maybe its the influence of assembly language back when labels had to be less than or equal to six characters... you tended to pick up a minimalistic pseudo English language. I've been considering tossing display devices with any internal logic into the U case. Does anyone remember what LAMPS or light bulbs were designated? That might be something to use for non-switching display units like LEDs... aka J |
