EA latched at reset depends on derivative.
correct, but even on derivatives where you can change it things happen such as - where in the cycle does the change take effect (could screw up a memory read) - the PC does not change with the instruction that changes !EA thus the next instruction must be at the proper address in the other memory (all areas where a memory change can take place must be identical in external and internal memory).
