If you swap uC from board to board, does the timing difference stay with the board or the uC?
I've used lots of 2051s, without having any such problems. Like Jan I would expect components on your board. We have seen components mispackaged by vendors, and those little crystal caps look a lot alike even though different in value. If they're improperly soldered, or cracked, you will also have problems. The only pullup gotchas on the 2051 are the P1.0 and P1.1 pins which might require pullups if you're not using the analog comparator. Dennis |
