Hello there

I'm going to use an Intel Architecture x86 CPU to run C++ program, do I need a BIOS, or just i'll use a C++ compiler to have a x86 native language, and i'm done?. is there a need a RTOS?

I really want to understand how to do it? i don't understand the purposes of the above terms ( BIOS, RTOS) and why i need them?
