What is the part number that you are using? A URL to its PDF would help.

There are various things that can cause overlap but none appear to fit your scenario. Things like writing more data into the the write buffer than it holds, or writing more data into an addressed page than it supports (usually the addressing of the page cycles back to the beginning of the page instead of counting into the next page.)
