there that the original 8051 chip has 4 I/O ports and a total of 32 I/O lines
Today you can find derivatives with more as well as less I/O pins. The general '51 litterature is all referring to the original '51 since if a general description would include all derivatives it would be extremely difficult to read and outdated the day it was printed. Erik |
