Need a little translation help here? Ok here goes....
The 'bible' in chapter 2 says...
This means that the P bit is a "1" if the number of 1's in the A register is Odd. Likewise the P bit is a "0" if the number of 1's in the A register is Even. So for your example: A=1000000b -> #1's is Odd -> P = 1 A=1100000b -> #1's is Even -> P = 0 Michael Karas |
