That's a sweeping statement. I agree that Java would be the wrong choice for many 8051 applications but I'm sure it would be good for many others. I know it's easy to become polarised when you're only used to a certain type of application. I am familiar with many types of applications, some including Java. The Java language is such that the horsepower required makes it unsuitable for a '51. I have several times argued against wrestling just any application into a '51. If you want Java, select a controller suited for it. Erik |
