An Evaluation Module kit is available for $500. It includes the TUSB3200, an integrated 8052 microcontroller, AC97 codec, emulator pod and EEPROM. It uses HID functionality. There is a C Compiler available from their 3rd party Keil Software, and an Emulator available from Nohau.
