and is the header file for a particular 8051 uC same for all 8051 assemblers ?
Yes and No. Yes. Because header files in assembly contain the address details of the SFRs and this IS MCU specific. No. Because how it is actually implemented will depend on the assembler that you use - for instance in a assembler like Pinnacle 52 with a Windows IDE, there is no such thing - instaed you select the processore type in the Project Options and the assembler takes care of providing the required SFR addresses.
