I am familiar with the 8051 port structure but the current limiting feature of your part is interesting. I was curious if pulldown current limiting was a documented feature of other variants I have used before. I looked at the datasheets for the Dallas DS89C420 and the Philips P89C51RD2 and neither seem to have that feature. Too bad.
