Hello all,

I am a VERY newbie hobbyist with MCUs, and I was
wondering where I might find simple schematics
on connecting the DS80C400 to an RJ-45 port and
a power supply. I'm a little confused by the PHY
interface... The docs say it has a built-in PHY,
but then go on to describe an interface with an
external PHY. I'm unclear on the terminology here.
Any help would be appreciated! I just want to
get this thing running on the LAN so I can start
programming it! :D

I'm more of a software guy than
a hardware guy, so be forgiving I'm still
