That is called inline assembly in "C", and your PCs BIOS(Basic I/O system) provides functions to manipulate video. you just Put 06h in accumulator and call the software interrupt 10h. second way is no relation with assebly language at all, here we are directly writing into the video buffer of the PC screen using pointers. buffer starts from the address B800:0000 in text modes and a8000:0000. in graphics modes. this requires much details which you can learn if you want using internet. abhishek |
