there are some pins on the ports of my port that are already set to 'high' initially
The sfr list in most (all?) at least Philips datasheets have a column called "reset value". That is the value the hardware set the sfr to when reset is applied. I have, on many ocasions had to add an inverter to a port pin to have a system in the correct state during reset. Usually all this require is a bit of thought (do I use a non-inverting or inverting buffer) while designing the hardware. Erik |
