- why do you thing it is 19200 baud? what is the OSC freq do you use?
- for what do you set TI?
- does code contain UART ISR, T1 ISR; are these interrupts enabled?

If you posted all the code you made then next question: could you say what does mean But have been unsuccessful - does P0 contain unexpected value? which one? give us an example of what you send and what you give.
