#53349 - RE: is it not possible to run real time ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Abhishek,
It was a bit odd to read your message. Everybody knows that DOS gives full control of your application but the basic question was " Whether it is possible to run real time in Windows. " While the answer is obvious, an attempt was made to point out at an alternative that can come closer to being deterministic - and depending on the end use might as well be a good solution - you get a GUI and all the comfort of a VB interface. Sticking to DOS when it is already on the way out can make your applications obsolete even before they are implemented. I am sure there will be many who feel like flaming at the above statement. But its MY personal opinion. And I have nothing against DOS except that its days are numbered. Raghu |
