This what I meant in my posting in the prevoius thread on this topic, where I have suggested the LM317 + DAC combination. Although, I have not explicitly said that.

Could, you please, explain. This is bit confusing for me to understand.

I have suggested an AD part, which is serially programmable, voltage o/p and tiny (!). Is the availabilty of AD parts in India difficult? It used to be in the past.
