Erik, it depends on UART speed. For example, somebody uses 1/12 and TH1 loaded with 0 (oh yes, it produses only 112boud at 11Mhz :) . But now he switches to x2 (1/6) --- yes, resolution is better but minimal baudrate is 224 boud. Should he load -256 into TH1? ((=
