OK, major tip here. The *best* keyword to use when it comes to searching for something to learn:

"Tutorial"

Search for "matlab tutorial" on Google and you'll find a whole bunch of very useful links. Most of them are on university websites (often on some professor's homepage). I'd found great stuff for matlab a year or so back, and it should still be there for google to find.

Don't forget that "tutorial" tip. Always works. Google rules.
