I would like to point out another thing: your MCU decoupling is inadequate. A single 0.1uF cap is not enough for the high speed, current-hungry DS89C420. I would suggest a minimum of two (ceramic) 0.01uF and two 1uF caps placed directly across the power and ground pins.
