In Dubai, there are tons of cheap chinese noisy toys, like StarTrek laser pistols. Just take the small PCB out of it and drive it with your micro....

What I did with my washing machine timer, I used the buzzer (peizo) available here in Pindi. When connected to just 5 volts it gives a nice beep.

Good enough to be driven from a pulled low port of the micro.

Karachi is full of such buzzers, Rs. 10 only, cheaper than a Candy.
