#53907 - RE: circular queue module Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Jeff:
If you are interested I could pass on couple of files of C source code for an error logging list mechanism such as you are trying to implement. In the code I have the log and the log access indexes were stored in a battery backed up RAM but there is no real reason it could not be moved over to an EEPROM implementation. Please send me an email if you are interested in looking at it. I believe that the sample I have has all the error log entries stored as a fixed length record with time stamps. The error types are stored as an encoded binary tag value. Michael |
