To conserve energy and reduce heat the Vcc of processors and controllers are tending towards Zero...who knows one day you will have a Vcc of 0.33VDC
that may be so, I do however think that it is a matter of yeld, a 3.3V part uses 1/4 the silicon of a 5V part. 115Amps into a pentium processor is hardly conserving energy. Erik |
