Hello.

I could not find the message board on KEIL website, otherwise I would have posted the message there.

I am using KEIL uVision2 (V2.10). I want to simulate SPI port on 89S8252 / 89S53.

I am following the instructions on their website help link:

It states:

To run this program...

1. Choose your target
2. Build the project (Project Menu, Build Target)
3. Start the debugger (Debug Menu, Start/Stop Debug Session)
4. View the Serial Window (View Menu, Serial Window #1)
5. View the SPI peripheral (Peripheral Menu, SPI)
6. View the Port 1 (Peripheral Menu, I/O Port)
7. Display the memory area X:0x700000
8. Run the program (Debug Menu, Go)

I have chosen the correct device through the dialog box, however it DOES NOT show an option for SPI peripheral in the Peripheral Menu.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong ??
