#54154 - IO port - SETB or MOV? |
Hi!
I\'m new with assembly programmation on 80C320. I made a small board with a 80C320 and a LED(+res) connected on P3.4 I made a small code to make it blink by using SETB on the P3.4 (and also the clear it, I use the bit instruction) and with a delay macro (dec of a reg loaded with 0FFh when the dec of another 0FFh loaded reg is fullt dec....) It works fine... But my question is coming... Ok... The other thing I tried is to write (instead of SETB) 0FFh on P3 (addr: 0B0h) and to clear, write 00h... It doesn\'t work... why? even if I have only 1 LED, it should still blink... Shouldn\'t it? My first thought is I\'m messing up with the SFR Timer conf by doing that... But how to make 8 leds (If i had connected them to all the P3 port bits) blinking then if it\'s not possible to set FF and then 00 after delay... Thanks for your answers Julius |
