Did you spell it "lawers" intentionally?

"Budding lawers" does sound a lot like "Budding flowers" which may be a kind way to refer to those in the legal profession or at least the wanna-bes.

A real "lawyer" on the other hand may not be so nice to contemplate as a beautiful flower. And I doubt that the laywers at Xilinx that are persuing this patent thing are anywhere near smelling like a rose !!
