And the cygnal chips are not cheap either. Nor easy for a beginner to extrapolate from a 3.3V fast chip to a vanilla variety 8051.
Moreover have just done a project on HC08 using Metrowerks "code warrior". Hard to find a simulation flaw in that. And kind of debugging tools they have added, the 8051 tools are not even close. Point being simulators well designed can do nearly as much as an ICE can do. |
