Oh Yes Mike,
That defenitely is a step ahead. Got some good ideas. The issue is under control and is almost as good as solved. Long time since I wrote a batch file - the last I remember was something to do with the lovely XCOPY ( I like that ) command in DOS - every I slected SHUT down, it used to transfer an image of the updated files alone from my C to D Drive.
