First you need some synchronization with mains frequency, e.g. by the help of a zero crossing detector. Turn-on triac, when zero crossing occurs. Keep triac turned-on for a certain time t, controlled my microcontroller. Duty cycle is directly controlled by t.
So, your micro needs to have an input for zero crossing detector and an output for firing triac. Kai |
