#54441 - 8052 startup problems |
Hello,
I am using a very basic 8052 setup with 32K of RAM. When connecting to hyperterminal via my serial port, I get random characters generated when first applying power to my 8052. Normally, I have hyperterminal up and running and then power up my 8052 and hit the spacebar to sync my baud rate. but sometimes it will generate random characters when I first apply power, after several resets i am always successfull in getting it to work correctly. What could be the problem? I have good, clean power coming in, capacitors at every chip site- hopefully eliminating any power related problems. |
