Who can help me te solve the following problem:
I want to connect an LCD to the P1 port of an AT89C2051 microcontroller. The LCD has 16 connecting points and that's why I want to use the 4-bit mode of the LCD. The LCD has 16 characters and 1 line.

I am used to the assembler language.
Who can help me to start up with a small asm program to get the characters on the LCD screen.
I should be very happy with that!!
