Why did'nt it occur to me ? Just one term to cover so many shapes !

Sorry Chris -this also has nothing to do with PFC.

Let me tell you something - I had in the past helped a group of students build a project to display the PF on a LED display by measuring the lag and lead parameters. The same Kai who is now so frustrated helped me through the project - yes we did make it happen. ( OK I did all the coding and the students watched from a distance and finally got the crital aspects of printing and binding the document )

But just to prove the concept we worked with reasonably clean sine waveforms and could show excellent results with a lamp load and a inductor load. ( All four students got 90% and above )
