#55218 - RE: Printf Problem Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I always use sprintf() for this problem. Then I can send the resulting string where I want it. The problem of using a suer supplied putchar() routine is that it gets called from within the library function and it can, in many instances, limit the flexibility of how the rest of your program deals with the I/O. There is more to say about this but I'll leave it as. sprintf() is the ticket to paradise.
