RS 485 Power supply. show that the poster did not read the definition of "absolute maximum".
Hallo Erik, I agree with you: Not reading datasheet but nevertheless formulating a post is a 'mortal sin'. If at the same time poster is quoting a totally wrong explaination, which is wrong in every detail, and proves that he never has put his eyes into datasheet, it's even worse. No one is free from making mistakes, but that a poster is too lazy to have a look at datasheet first is inacceptable and makes me angry, too. But with Sanjeev situation is bit different, I think. For a beginner it's very difficult to understand a datasheet correctly. And it's just our experience, which gives us the power to read between the lines and understand all these subtle informations given (or not given!) by manufacturer. It's just like a secret language and we all seniors have had those 'sleepless nights', where we hoped, that chip is working as WE understood datasheet, didn't we? A beginner, how gives HIS best to solve problem should be helped in any case, and also stupid seeming questions should be tolerated. One teacher of me told me: 'There are no stupid questions, only silly answers.' I totally agree with you: People must do their work by their own, first. And they must read, read, read, and once again, read to get all the necessary information. If THEN there are problems, posting is ok. Regards, Kai |
