I'm going to appologize to you for my rude behavaior. I did get the open connection to work using 5VDC as posted on the other thread. It almost defies ohms law but the device does pull current and does light up even when the input contacts LOOK OPEN. Please accept my appologies and make note that I'm spitting out crow feathers all over my lab. Thanks for your help.
