#56247 - interfacing ISO 7816 IC Cards |
Dear all,
i have to implement the interface ISO 7816 for IC cards on an 8051. As this protocol is an asynchronous protocol i thougth of using the uart of the 8051 to communicate with the card. Do i have to evaluate the errorsignal after every byte? Is it possible to detect the errorsignal, if i would take a baudrate for the uart that is a bit slower than the real baudrate and use nine databyte and parity? So the real parity would come into the ninth databit and the errorsignal would be received as parity? Does anyone know some links about ISO 7816 implementations or has anyone implemented this protocol on a 8051? What about the hardwareconnection between card an micro? Thanks for any information, Markus p.s.: i want to use a 8051 with baudrate generator. |
