Who, in his/her right mind, would be willing to betatest a new package when excellent packages are available for free/almost free ?

I betatested a commercial C compiler once and with the number of problems found in a product made by a staff (not one person) with several other compilers in their experience I would expect betatesting the proposed package to be a nightmare.

Of couse, if you would rather betatest a oackage that get product out the door, maybe you would be willing.
