You hit the nail on the head. I am the one building 1/144 RC warships. I saw this little thing and wondered if I could replace the radio modems I am planing to use. However Charles's idea is a great way to use one. When I looked inside they are quite complicated with 2 rather large TQFP's running the works. I suspect, I will place the order for the radio modems.
