#56741 - RE: Debugging techniques and tools for 8052
Responding to: ???'s previous message
What is about hardware/schematic/assemly/soldering of board errors?
I ask it because yesterday I have found two ones here. Both are from Altera PLDs. If somebody is interesting: EPM7128S puts its pins to ground due power-off if Vdd is less than 3V. Due some reason, our board uses nonvolatile FRAM FM1608 and all control signals (RD/WR/CE/) are produced with PLD. As result, when power is switched off, PowerSV 7705 makes Reset signal for MCU and PLD. CE/ goes high and all things seem okay. But then, when power falls down below 3 volts, PLD connects its pins to ground internaly and CE/ activates again, wow! Now it is fixed with one resistor and additional wire, but could you imagine how it was hard to found such error inside my program, what people suggested me about, hehe (=
