#56854 - Autobaud algorithm |
During initialization, the Atmel C51 recieves a "U" character (1010101010b, including start and stop bits) in order to perform the autobaud calculation. The microcontroller indicates the completion of the calculation by echoing a "U" character back to the host. Does anyone know enough about the autobaud algorithm to know how many times the "U" character might be sent before the calculation is complete? I would appreciate knowing, and I appreciate any help/insight anyone might offer. Thanks. |
