#57221 - RE: CodeWright Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I really have to agree with Jez. The world of programming is much bigger than windows. In the linux domain you have cvs for revision control, make for build managment, autoconf and automake for building distributions, vim or emacs as powerful editors, yacc & lex for writing your own script compilers, etc., etc.
There is way to have the flexibility of linux without sacrificing the ability to use windows-based tools, and that is to run cygwin. This will give you access to all nearly all that Linux (unix) as to offer, and without spending a penny. |
