That's why I was after a chip - rather than a full all-bells-and-whistles system! "your notebook doesn't have an analog output or do you want external conversion for better quality of sound?" It has the standard stereo line out, and I also have an external USB stereo In/Out thingy (Edirol UA-1A), but I was looking for the full 5.1 (to go with the onboard DVD player) |
