Well basically i am calling the other phone to indicate that a alarm condition is detected on the caling end.... so it calls a number and play a recorded message.


OKey here is what am i doing

- i call a number by sending DTMF's from MT8880
- after send DTMF's i initialize the MT in Call Progress mode with this C Code.

MT_Clock_In(); is the clock for MT to accept command

After this i was expecting the dialing tone on IRQ pin of MT8880 in a square wave form.

Now according to MT8880 document, it should be happening but not in reality.

Can some body who has used MT8880 and MH88422, tell me what potential problem should i look into.
