Hi Oliver,
thank for your answer. The problem occur with the PC as the receiver. With HyperTerminal there are no missing bytes. But HyperTerminal can not be used in batch jobs. Also I can not control the handshake signals independent or adjust unusual baudrates. So I need my own program e.g. to download into the DS5000. But now it seems, I found the solution. There is a DMA mode bit in the FIFO enable register and if it was cleared, my nootebook works also fine. It looks amazing, but DOS interrupts working fine on W98. Also, if the DOS box working in background, I lost no byte, even if no FIFO was used. Only a receive interrupt was installed and the DMA bit was cleared. Peter |
